What this page covers
This page is maintained by the Toonqo team to explain, in plain language, what happens to the information you put into the product. It describes current practice and is not a certification or an audit result.
Toonqo runs on the Lovable Cloud platform, which provides the database, authentication, file storage and hosting behind the app. Responsibility is shared: the platform secures the infrastructure, and we decide how the app uses it.
Information we hold
- Account details: the email address you sign up with, and the confirmation state of that address.
- Project content: titles, briefs, scripts, scene text, character descriptions and the settings you choose such as tone, art style, narrator voice and music levels.
- Generated assets: the illustrated frames, narration audio files, thumbnails and any music bed you upload, stored as files linked to your project.
- Share links: if you create a public preview link, the token behind it and the project it points at.
How your content is used
Your project content is used to run the features you ask for. When you generate a script, a frame or a narration clip, the relevant text is sent to the AI provider that performs that task, and the result is written back to your project.
We do not sell your content, and we do not publish your projects. Nothing in a project is visible to other users unless you create a share link yourself.
Access and storage
- Projects, scenes, characters and assets are scoped to your account through row level database policies.
- Files live in a private storage bucket and are served through short lived signed URLs rather than public addresses.
- Authentication is handled by the platform. We never see or store your password.
- A public share link, if you create one, lets anyone with that link view that project's preview until you remove it.
Retention and deletion
Project content is kept for as long as your account exists, so you can come back and re-edit a video. Deleting a project removes its scenes, frames and audio from the app.
If you want your account and everything in it removed, contact us and we will delete it. Files you have already downloaded remain on your own devices and are outside our control.
Cookies and analytics
Toonqo uses browser storage to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers on the product pages.
Your choices
- Edit or delete any project content directly in the studio at any time.
- Revoke a share link to stop public access to a preview.
- Ask for a copy of your projects, or for your account to be deleted.
