Terms of use
The short version:
make good things.
What you can expect from Toonqo, what we expect from you, and who owns the videos that come out the other end.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Toonqo you agree to the terms on this page. If you are using Toonqo on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Toonqo after an update means you accept the revised version.
Your account
- You need a valid email address and a confirmed account to use the studio.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, so keep your sign in details private.
- Accounts are for individuals or a single organisation. Do not share one login across a group that should have their own.
- Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.
Your content and who owns it
You keep ownership of the ideas, scripts, characters, frames, audio and finished videos you create in Toonqo. We do not claim rights over your projects and we do not publish them.
You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: storing your content, processing it through the AI features you trigger, and serving it back to you or to anyone you share a preview link with.
You are responsible for making sure your content is lawful and that you have the rights to anything you upload, including any music bed you add to a project.
Acceptable use
- Do not create content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or that sexualises minors.
- Do not impersonate real people or organisations in a way designed to deceive.
- Do not upload music, images or text you do not have the rights to use.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service.
- Do not use Toonqo to generate spam or content that breaks the rules of the platforms you publish to.
AI generated output
Scripts, art, voices and thumbnails are produced by AI models. Output can be inaccurate, generic, or similar to what another user receives from a similar prompt. Review everything before you publish it.
You are responsible for fact checking explainer content and for confirming that anything you publish meets the requirements of your audience and your platform.
Availability and changes
Toonqo is offered as is while it is being actively developed. Features may change, and we may occasionally take the service down for maintenance or updates.
We keep backups where practical, but you should download the MP4 or the asset pack for anything you consider final. Local copies are the only guarantee.
Suspension and ending your use
You can stop using Toonqo at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Toonqo is not liable for lost revenue, lost content, or indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to us through the address associated with your account, and we will get back to you.
